The Role of AI in Web Development
It’s no secret that AI is rapidly changing the web design industry.
While Bellow does rely on AI in parts of the business, it does not replace experience, judgement, or creativity.
We believe that Humans Design Best For Humans.
AI supports our process, but final decisions are human led. We remain fully responsible for understanding you and your business, making development decisions, and delivering the final result.
I, along with contractors that may be included on projects, follow this mission and the general principles that are laid out below.

How We Use AI
AI allows us to work faster while not missing crucial steps.
We use AI to:
- Research, outline and rough draft blog posts, emails, social media posts and website copy
- Develop code and troubleshoot issues
- Create design concepts, wireframes and inspiration
- Compile notes, documentation and summaries
- Catch typos and grammatical errors in copy
- Review copy for gaps and missing information
Our AI Toolstack
- Claude / ChatGPT – used for drafting and refining copy, summarizing information, reviewing code, troubleshooting technical problems, managing our own internal task management system, and creating tasks inside of Bellow Care dashboards.
- Granola – used for taking notes during calls and creating transcripts and summaries of meetings
- Wispr Flow – used for voice to text responses to emails and messages.
- Rank Math SEO – for sites that use the Rank Math SEO plugin, the built in AI features are used to draft meta information.
What AI Does Not Do on Your Project
- AI does not design your website. Every layout, visual decision, and UX choice comes from humans, informed by your brand, your goals, your audience, and our expertise.
- AI does not replace our strategy. The systems architecture and conversion strategy we build for you are human led.
- AI generated images are not used in your project.
- We do not implement AI generated layouts submitted by clients. Every site we build is designed and developed from the ground up to meet our clients goals.
- We kindly ask that you don’t feed our designs into AI tools. The layouts, systems, and strategies we create for you are our original work. Running them through AI tools to generate variations could compromise your brand identity and our work. We want to protect both.
Confidentiality & Data Privacy
Your information is never used to train AI. We have disabled all settings that allow AI tools to train on the data entered and we review these settings periodically to ensure they have not changed.
We will never knowingly submit your personally identifiable information or sensitive information to any AI tool. Before sharing any information, all names and identifying information are removed. This includes:
- Name, email, phone number or other contact information
- Login credentials
- Financial and payment information
- Legal or other sensitive information
- Private user data
